What is the minimum resolution allowed?
The minimum camera image of 2MP (mega-pixel) is recommended for good print quality, but if you really want a crisp high quality image, we recommend a camera image of at least 4MP (mega-pixel) or higher. You can easily change your device's resolution under your device's camera settings. Most cameras, tablets and cell phones have high mega-pixel options under their settings menus. Please see your device's instructions on how to change these settings for optimal picture quality.
What special suggestions would you give to me before I submit my photo or image?
One very strong suggestion that we can give is to make sure that your image has enough background space on all four (4) sides. What we mean by background space is: any part of an image that you do not mind being folded or "wrapped". For example: Let's say you are making a canvas out of a portrait of your family. You should have a few inches of space or background image between the top of your head and the top of the picture SEE IMAGE-A BELOW. (You wouldn't want to have your forehead all the way at the top of the canvas, folded or "wrapped" with the top side of the frame SEE IMAGE-B BELOW. Would you?) Give your pictures space on all four (4) edges and you will be fine.
